Only if it is unencrypted. The situation depends on where you are, and it
ranges from many channels available to only the local off-airs and C-Span.

Not sure what "analog digital" is, perhaps you mean Standard Definition
programming? Digital does not equal HD, in spite of some mis-guided
marketing.
The HDHR can't receive any analog signals, only ATSC over-the-air and CATV QAM
(and some DBV in countries other than the US).
Most Myth B/Es run 24/7 or close to it, or use some sort of wake-up method,
laptops are not very good at either.
I'd consider repairing the machine, if you can do so yourself, or selling it,
and using more standard H/W for your Myth system.
