Although I have not seen your specific issue I have had issues when 
specifying multiple drives in the storage group. I ended up creating a 
multidrive LVM and now allow the LVM code to manage where to write the 
info. I saw a significant increase in the write speed with multiple 
recording over the individual drives after doing this.
