[mythtv-users] AC3 sound does not work

Hello,

I have a standard Ubuntu 8.10 installation with mythfrontend packages as
well as "ubuntu-mythtv-frontend".

When running mythfrontend via mythtv account AC3 does not work. But if I
login to a normal account and play an AC3 encoded file with mplayer it works
fine. If I also runs mythfrontend from that account AC3 work fine.

- How can I get AC3 to work as well as on the mythtv account?
