[mythtv-users] Quicktime 1080p mov files smoother than 720p mkv (Debian)

Just thought of something else, but don't mkv files contain differing
codecs (if you will) meaning that any of the options could be relevant
for any file that is mkv? please forgive my ignorance as i am still
trying to get up to speed with these hi-def compression formats.
