More strange stuff....
The MythCenter theme works great, but the MythCenter-wide theme has no text.
Both use the same font (Trebuchet MS).
Can anyone help?

That didn't work, BUT...I have another clue...
By switching to another theme, any theme, all works again.
Somehow MythCenter (Widescreen) causes a screwup!! (I had customized this
theme in verion .20 but I removed all themes before upgrading...)
Is there any way to debug a theme?

I don't know the solution offhand, but I'd suggest deleting your themecache
directory (~/.mythtv/themecache)
