Those technologies certainly reduced the problem, but you can still run
into receiver de-sensing and intermodulation products in the receiver
frontends.

My main point was that you should try not to use wireless links for Myth
systems if there is an alternative. Although many people use them
successfully, there have been a LOT of posts here from people with
problems, which went away when they went to hardwire links. This is
especially true of HD, or multiple streams.

Since the OP mentioned the F/E was to be located in a bedroom, as
opposed to next door, it should be possible to run a cat-5 cable.
