More vibrant colours, better blacks etc. The composite/S-Video signals
appeared washed out (greys instead of blacks and subdued bright
colours). The fact that using the RGB SCART cable made the picture
quality better (to me) was worth it alone, and that it only cost about
£10 in parts was a bonus
