[mythtv-users] Volume not adjustable in TV mode [SOLVED]

MythTV Users,

Thanks for the helpful advice.

Going to Utilities Setup -> Setup -> General and going to the Audio 
screen, I changed the "Mixer Device" to "Alsa: Default", and the "Mixer 
Controls" to "PCM", and that seems to enable sound control when watching TV.

It adjusts the sound for the whole computer, which, to be honest, I find 
really, really stupid. But that seems to be the only option available.
