Hi Again,

It looks like I found what the problem was, because I was building another
MythTV frontend from scratch and encountered the same error again.

When I installed faad2 and faac, for some reason MythTV would not use the
codec, even though they appeared in the ldd command. So, I download the
source for both of these, built, and installed it. Now, I rebuilt MythTV and
installed it, and now it works like a charm.
