Thanks for your reply. I don't think that's the issue, because the backend
will run for a number of hours before the port becomes unresponsive.
Sometimes it will run for 8 hrs between lockups, sometimes 30 mins. The
firewall on this server is disabled.

However, I ran the netstat command and here's the ports you mentioned.
tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:6544            0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN

tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:6543            0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN

tcp        0      0 192.168.0.6:6543        192.168.0.71:55359   ESTABLISHED
