[mythtv-users] mythtv tv recording suddenly grainy / ugly

When I first hooked up my hdtv, my old recordings looked horrible.  I
cranked up the resolution, and it was a big improvement.  My files went from
1 gig / hour to 3 gig / hour, but it got rid of the grain.  It's definitely
not HD, but it was an improvement.
