[mythtv-users] Ripped DVDs play too fast after 1:20 in the internal player

I'm having a weird problem with some DVD rips I made using Myth's 
"Import DVD" feature.  The rips are done using "Excellent" quality and 
AC3 audio.  When I play them back in mythvideo using the internal 
player, everything is fine until about the 1 hour 20 minute mark; then 
the video starts playing too fast and the audio skips. I get a lot of 
errors like this in the log:

2008-09-11 23:37:40.520 NVP::AddAudioData():p1: Audio buffer overflow, 
audio data lost!

When I play an affected file in xine, it plays without skipping, but the 
audio sync seems slightly off.

I tried building a seektable with mythcommflag --video, but it didn't help.
