I am in Australia with a 60hz vga driven LCD (samsung 42") recording
DVB-T. What I had to do for perfect signal:
-bob deinterlace (now YADIF 2x in .21)
-overscan to "-1" %/pixel in all directions (to essentially chop off
the flickering pixel line)
-opengl vsync OFF
I get 1-2 frames of tearing per HOUR max (like i'll notice on a bright
to dark scene), and no stutter.
