Hi;
I joined the list last night.

I puy together a "test box" to play with MythDora 5.
It is low-end, I will be using a shuttle as the front end eventually.

My problem is that I cannot get video to the TV.
The video card is ATI 9200 with comp and s-video out 128M
Tuner is PVR-250.

When I boot the system I get TV video on the composite out.
When the GUI starts no video to the TV.
I have comp and s-video plugged into the TV.
I cycle through them at boot to see which works, just composite.

Clicking on "watch TV" I get a blank monitor and TV.

Yesterday I managed to actually watch tv on the monitor.
So of course I tried changes to make the TV out work and killed the monitor video.

Does this ATI card need to be told to use S-Video?

I cannot figure out how to search the archives.
I did google it and got lots of old Fedor 2/4 pages.
Most stuff was about XF86config which does not seem to apply anymore with the new kernels.

My main box runs Fedora 9/KDE.

Sorry if this is a dumb/obvious question.
Let me know what logs etc to send you.

Thanks
 Mick M.
