Nah. The only thing I've seen in practice is a higher chance of data 
corruption if you pull the plug while the FS is being used. Granted, 
this is something that can happen with any FS, but I think in my 
experience XFS is a bit more fragile in that regard.
I don't see that as a big disadvantage for a Myth storage volume. I am 
planning to use XFS for the video storage partition on my next Myth 
server. It's going to be a single large drive, a very small Ext3 
partition for the OS, a large XFS partition for the video and that's 
pretty much it.

Advantages:
It's lightning fast with large files. Especially delete works almost 
instantaneously, no matter what the file size. It has very low 
fragmentation.
Keep in mind that it was designed for exactly the kind of workload that 
MythTV will put on it - SGI made it for their video storage and 
processing servers, back when processing cinema-resolution raw video (or 
even not so raw) was impossible on anything but custom-built 
million-dollar hardware.
