rEFIt will not work because the AppleTV EFI does a cert check of 
bot.efi which rEFIt is replacing. The cert check fails and rEFIt will 
not run.

But there are many ways around this using atv-bootloader including 
have a MythBuntu install on a USB flash drive. Stick the flash drive 
in, boot to MythBuntu, remove it, boot to Apple OS. Works like a 
champ.
