Ahh, that was it Tom. Silly mistake, so much easier just checking
that little box under the Mythtv -> Setup -> General to enable the
telnet remote interface.
That is a lot easier than installing a telnetd server configuring it
and doing it all wrong :-)
Works like a champ.
