[mythtv-users] nvidia optimization during compile myth

[OCG Technical Support]

I have an Nvidia card with the latest (proprietary) nvidia drivers
installed.  Prior to compile mythtv 0.21-fixes, and run configure with
options below, but then it complains that an Nvidia driver is missing.

 

Can anyone explain what is going on?  (Does Mythtv opengl option only use
the open source nvidia driver?)

Options:  --disable-joystick-menu --disable-hdhomerun --enable-dvb
--enable-proc-opt --enable-opengl-vsync --prefix=/usr/local --disable-dbox2
--enable-xvmc-opengl 

Disabling XvMC-opengl. It is only available when linking against
libXvMCNIVIDIA
