I prefer sorting by metadata but the chosen method should be left up
to the user - once the metadata sorting functionality is there, nobody
is going to force the user to sort by either the metadata or folder
structure. That will be a choice to be made at installation. That is
what makes MythTV so great, the ability (albeit at a cost of some
added complexity) to tune it to exactly what you need.
