Have you looked at the patch? It creates v4lchannel.{h,cpp} and empties out
channel.{h,cpp}. The only thing it doesn't do is remove the old files.

BTW, I've done some light testing of an HD-PVR in Myth using this patch and
it seems to work. YMMV.
