[mythtv-users] Mass lossless mpeg2 transcode

Hi all,

I love MythTV. As I find time to dig around the wiki and the interface,
I end up finding valuable functionality that I knew nothing about.

My setup is based on DVB tuners, recording MPEG2 Transport Streams.

And now I discover mythtranscode that converts to Program Streams that
are about 20% smaller, that corrects eventual internal glitches and
re-indexes the key frames.

Great !

I triggered a few transcodes through Mythweb and loved the result.

I have set auto-transcode for future recordings (it has parts in the
backend and frontend setups...)

I'm not willing to use/honor cutlists or anything, but the 20% gain on
disk is very nice.

Now, I'm looking for a way to fill the job queue with all my
previous/existing recordings for auto-mpeg2 lossless transcoding, or any
method with equivalent results.

My search though Google, the wiki and the mailing list archives did not
bring what I was looking for. So I'm turning to the experts.

Thanks for your help,

Nico
