You need HTTP::Request (at least), from libwww-perl (
http://search.cpan.org/search?query=HTTP%3A%3ARequest&mode=all ).  When
you get the next error, look for the similar part, find where it comes
from by searching CPAN, and continue down the path of installing missing
dependencies.

I don't know if Doug has some meta-package-like emerge thingy (I'm not a
Gentoo user, in case that wasn't perfectly clear, yet) that pulls in
deps for the MythTV Perl bindings, but if so, that would be a very nice
easy way to get things.
