What linux distribution are you using?  I just looked at livna.org and they
seem to only have packages for Fedora. I'm not sure if I should try and use
those with ubuntu 8.10 or not.

Thanks for rxplaining the difference between faac & faad.  It was not self
explainitory what the difference was.
