[mythtv-users] Why isn't LiveTV as smart as a regular recording?

Ok, but we've established that MythTV just doesn't keep multirec into
account, which is why we're having a hard time with this.

I've done a bit of research the past few hours.
I believe the solution must be somewhere in these 2 files:

mythtv/libs/libmythtv/tv_rec.cpp
mythtv/libs/libmythtv/channelbase.cpp

Is one of these exclusively for LiveTV, or are they used for regular
recording as well?

I naively thought it could be *just* an SQL error (which I could fix)
but I'm not sure any more.

I guess it must also have something to do with the "IsInputAvailable"
function ...
