[mythtv-users] Why isn't LiveTV as smart as a regular recording?

I don't watch LiveTV either, but it's a godsend to have in the menus.
I can check my channels and tuners. Also, I can check QAM channels to
see exactly what network is on the channel (since Comcast hides these
and keeps changing them.)

So, LiveTV should ALWAYS be available for us to use.
