[mythtv-users] [mythtvosd] pidgin perl plugin

Hi,

maybe this will come in handy for some of the readers here;
i made a small pidgin (aim/msn etc client) that shows buddy signon and chat
info within mythtv using mythtvosd.
This only works while watching live tv or recordings or anything else using
the internal player.

now i don't have to walk to another room to find out who is talking to me on
msn messenger ..

just copy the mythtv.pl file in the plugins folder of pidgin
furthermore you need the purple perl module for this to work..
