good point.  i tested this today.  it's about 1-2 minutes for full guide data, 
etc on the dct700 with comcast in chicago.  i have my myth box start up about 
4 minutes prior to a recording to get any houskeeping/scheduling tasks 
complete prior to the start of the recording; it's been more stable this way.
