John,

I can record "somthing" from 10510, I am downloading your sample to try. 
How exactly did you play it back with mplayer ?

I thought that the mpeg1 identification was easy to override, and tried 
a quick (unsuccesful) hack of SVN. Like to see what I am trying to 
decode though :-)
