[mythtv-users] problem playing dvds with menus

I have several dvds that have menus. When using mplayer the menu is displayed 
but when selecting a title the video is all messed up. The audio seems fine.

DVDs that do not have menus work as expected.

I have tried xine and vlc as well and had similar results.

I have not found an answer looking at the archives or searching the web.

I am using Fedora 8 with all updates and Mythtv ver. .21 with updates.

Is there a module I need to install?
What are some other tests or settings I can try?
