[mythtv-users] No video or sound - Hauppauge PVR-150

  I installed mythtv on an Intel dual core processor running Arch linux (32 bit) with 2 GB of memory running the 2.6.24 kernel.  My tuner card is the Hauppauge PVR-150 which is connected directly from the cable outlet to the tuner card. I am not using the digital cable box (although that didn't work either).  I do not have the computer connected to a TV.  The card seems to be working perfectly when using cat /dev/video0 > file.mpg and can be tuned using the ivtv-tune -c # command.  I can connect to mysql and can download the TV listings.    

  The setup "seems" to be working, except that I can neither watch live TV nor successfully record anything. The problem "seems" to be that mythtv can not start the recorder.  A small file (datetime.nuv) shows up in /var/lib/mythtv/video, but is very small and stops writing after a minute or so.  I have tried Cable-US, Cable-HRC and Cable-IRC.  I also don't know what to use for the transporter frequency.

 After trying so many combinations, I have become totally confused and punch drunk.  Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.   I am providing some of the console output from the mythbackend and mythfrontend commands below.
