[mythtv-users] How to get SPDIF working?

Hi Mythicals,

This may not be the right forum, but I'm getting desperate. My amplifier 
is SPDIF only and I cannot get SPDIF output from my MythBuntu 8.04/ ASUS 
M3A mobo with Realtek ALC833 onboard.

I only seem to be able to get analogue sound out, no matter how much I 
fiddle about. And fiddling about is all I am capable of, it seems ;)

Anyway, can I get any help here?
