I did this a year or so ago with a test Asterisk system.  It was a  
little hit and miss, but I suspect that was due to my Asterisk system  
more than the MythTV system.

  It worked pretty well, except for the fact that I had no microphone  
on the myth frontend to do any real testing.

I set it up in the frontend setup menus.  It was some time ago, so I  
can't give specifics, but I know it does work (or at least did).
