Stock laptop xandros/whatever distro on the eee pc. I put in some debian
etch repos and installed mythtv frontend from their.

This was a few months ago when I first got eee pc. Myth was 0.20 then.
My server is still 0.20 but repos now have 0.21 versions of myth. So not
tired it.

Biggest problem was the space on the eee pc. Myth only needs around
60-100mb. But its hard getting that much free space. Also I used SD card
to hold the deb packages before install.

UK DVB-T worked pretty well over wireless B. Odd bit of skipping on some
programs. Others perfect.

Mythfrontend ran pretty well , considering CPU is clocked 600mhz. One
thing to be slighlty worried about. I always had the bottom taskbar
shown.

I didn't want to get rid of the stock xandros as one of the main reasons
I use the little eee pc is to play web java games. (like
www.pokerroom.com). If the java applet was bigger than screen (800x440)
- using konqueror on stock install was the only way I could move the
applet around. All other distros the java was fixed in place and games
unplayable.
