[mythtv-users] LIRC problems after Ubuntu 8.04 update --SOLVED

Mario,
    Many thanks for your suggestion; this was exactly right. I had
wrongly copied my old hardware.conf file in to the new installation, but
the format has changed from v7.04 to v8.04. Having correctly set the
driver and device fields, it is now working.
