It certainly could be but I NEVER saw stuttering of any kind on 0.20.
With 0.21 EVERY machine in the house stutters at the start of a
program or after a commercial skip. That stutter goes like
Start, top for 1 second, start again, stop for 1/2 second, start
again, stop for 1/4 second, plays OK from here. It's always 3-4
stutters on every machine since going to 0.21 whether they are on
wireless or hardwired. The only machine I haven't checked is the
server as it's headless.
