Yeah, MADD has gone way over the top. You can't solve the problem by  
just continually increasing the penalties, you have to solve the real  
problem, which is that in most parts of this country there is simply  
no alternative to driving home if you;ve been out drinking.

Wyoming finally passed an open container law. The driver is not  
allowed to have an open container in his possession, but it's  
perfectly OK for the passengers to do so. We call it the "Here, hold  
my beer" law.
