[mythtv-users] Successful! MythTV Installation on Slackware 12

Hello all.

A while back I had inquired about installing MythTV on top of Slackware, 
my "distro of choice".  I found a guide for an older version of 
Slackware, and the task sounded maybe a bit daunting.

This weekend I caught a "wild hair" and decided I was gonna do it.  I'm 
quite happy to report it was a lot easier than I initially expected.

I used the 20.2 "SlackBuilds" from the SlackBuilds.org website, along 
with a few extra packages (LAME, most notably).  Took a little bit of 
time to get everything configured as I wanted, but my Myth box has never 
been better.  Dont wanna start a Distro war, but god I love Slackware!

I kept notes of what I did, and I'm gonna try to find the time to write 
it all up into some sort of How-to, but I thought in the meantime I'd 
post to the list for anyone else wanting to try it.
