| Hi,

| My (SD) TV has component inputs.
|
| Currently I'm using the S-VIDEO out on a GeForce FX 5200 which is going
| into a composite input on the TV (no s-video).
|
| I'm replacing the 5200, which has a fan, with a new fanless 7300.
|
| Would it be worth it to use one of these ...
| http://sewelldirect.com/DVI-to-Component-Adapter-Cable-6ft.asp rather
| than the s-video.
|
| According to this http://www.nvidia.com/page/7300_features.html I think
| the cable will work with the card.

the best cable to get is dvi to dvi. anytime you use a converter cable
you are subject to signal loss/downgrade. although, your only taking 1
performance step down to component. svideo can only carry 480, id switch
to dvi->component.
