OK - thanks.  Also makes sense. I even followed the HOWTO and added the
" --delete-new-channels" argument to mythfilldatabase.

The problem is that, since the two lineups are, in effect, opposites of
one another, in my case the channels in the first lineup were deleted
(after a few days I noticed they were gone).  Does that make sense?  Any
ideas?
