nVidia cards after the 5xxx series dropped XVideo picture controls,
but we can simulate some of the controls in the new experimental
OpenGL video renderer. Brightness, contrast and gamma do not simulate
"saturation". The closest would probably be gamma if you are stuck
with those controls. Your best bet might be to locate the picture
settings for your monitor and make the adjustments there. Newer
displays often have a factory setting with the brightness turned
up too high*, which washes out all the colors and compromises the
blacks. Turn this down first, then play with the other sliders.

* There is a good economic reason for this. Most TV showrooms just
unpack the displays and put them on display without adjustment, so
TV manufacturers need to optimize the display settings for room
bathed in copious florescent lighting.
PS If you have a 5xxx or earlier nvidia card, you can enable picture
controls by telling the driver to use overlay for XVideo in xorg.conf.
