Using just a similar config...with mythbox connected over coax, digital
passthrough. The Z5500 detects the dolby digital surround or dts or thx,
on the optical input I have a pinnacle soundbridge. I have another
"server" running twonkymedia as UPnP music server. (So the wife can play
music/listen radio using the Soundbridge/Z5500 while I can use my
mythbox for something else, such as reading mail). The only things
visible are the soundbridge and the logitech control.
Disadvantage: no option to tweak low or high tones. You cant adjust it
to your acoustics.
