[mythtv-users] Easy Cable Box Integration

I've come to the sad realization that the cable in my area is all
digital and encrypted and that I need the box for what I want to
watch.

I'm using the PVR-150 with the IR receiver/blaster combo.  All SD programming.

I've been Googling around a lot and can't seem to find one central
place that gives easy steps in how to use Myth with a cable box.
What's neccessary, whether to use an IR blaster vs. firewire to
control the cable, box, etc.  Basically just all the basics and best
practices on how to get it up and running quickly and efficiently.

Has anyone compiled a list of sorts like this, or does anyone have any
input on what's working for them?
