Maybe he forgot the word "yet" since we're still waiting for a patch  
that only starts buffering when you hit a button that needs PVR-type  
capabilities - oh AND ALSO keeps the beginning of the program that you  
started to watch when you hit record instead of just recording from  
that point forward since that was a VERY vocal feature that people  
griped about a lot and finally made it into the code.

The reason mythtv doesn't allow watching LiveTV without buffering is  
because plenty of other things already do that so why reinvent the  
wheel?
