[mythtv-users] Shaking video output after 0.21 upgrade.

Hi,

I have a problem with the live TV (and recordings too) after the 0.21
upgrade. The video seems to shake once in a while, and also stutter some
times, and when I use the OSD with BOB, you can see how the OSD is
distorted, and not in "sync".

In 0.20, I could watch live TV for hours without a single distortion, on
my Dell PIII 733MHz, with Soundblaster Live, GeForce 256 and pvr150(yes
I know, very low end system, I build it as a test a couple of years ago,
and it has served well!)

I use the following configuration:
nvidia driver 8774, opengl sync vertical, bob, xv output, pvr150 with
0.4.10, kernel 2.6.15 with CK4 patches.

After upgrading, I have tried many different configurations, lowered the
bitrate from the tv card, tried other deinterlacers than BOB and so on.
The problem does not go away. When I downgrade to 0.20 the playback is
nice again.

When watching DVD, the playback is nice on 0.21, and BOB works perfect,
even if IDLE cpu is between 2-5% constant. When watching live tv, idle
cpu is around 10-20 %.

I suspect that disk or other IO change might be the problem, due to more
"aggressive" disk sound.

Any ideas?
If not, I will have to upgrade my HW or downgrade to 0.20. But I really
like the global music system, new in 0.21!
