I did this about 2 months ago.  At the time MythTV SVN was fairly stable as
developers prepared for the 0.21 release.  I backed up my database and
installed a fresh OS (saving half of my md-based RAID sets).  I had been
running SVN on FC6 and decided to move to CentOS 5.1 when Axel dropped FC6
support.
