Sorry J.D, didn't see your post until now - so many messages on this list!
No joy - I think the 6100 doesn't support full purevideo or XvMC.

The GeForce 6100 on the other hand does not support TV encoding
or TMDS/DVI output, and only sports standard definition (4:3) playback.
