[mythtv-users] Seeking ASX streams

I upgraded to mythtv 0.21-182 on Fedora 8.
It all works fine.

I've started using VLC to view these ASX streams. I can't seem to seek 
while playing these streams.
I'm not sure what is restricting this. I believe it should be possible 
to seek a stream like you can on youtube.

I also notice that I can't seek the on-the-fly flash viewer either.

Is this a restriction of the player or mythtv?
Is there something I can do to enable seeking?
