No, that bug was fixed a while ago from what I can tell. This was a
different issue. Somehow the driver just quits working. From what I
recall, you can't even rmmod it to unload the driver and reload
it...the rmmod command just hangs. I spent quite a bit of time trying
to deal with it and couldn't figure anything out. I even dug into the
driver source and looked at a number of things, including the
reveresed MAC address issue, and that didn't appear at all to be the
case.
