Careful with those, they are most of the time more harmful than anything
else.

Get a properly ugly high-quality splitter and, if needed, a masthead
amp.

At least multirec help solve back-to-back recordings with modified
start-stop times, and recordings-while-you-watch. It's not just about
recording multiple channels.
