Funny -- I was thinking about both of those things exactly.  I am going
change the logo to incorporate mythtv in it, I just hadn't got around to
it.  As for the watermark images, I wanted to fix them for consistency, I
just couldn't figure out how to do it.  I am not the greatest artist.  I
never thought of using blender, that's a great idea.  I would love to get my
hands on whatever you produced.
